Do you have some tips on container care?

Keep your container plants looking as good as the day you planted them . . .


1. Always use good quality container gardening mix, appropriate for the plant.

2. Mix a slow release fertilizer into the potting mix and liquid feed during spring and summer.

3. Water according to plant growth and the weather: often in summer, rarely in winter.

4. Even succulents, which survive the driest conditions of all, grow best with some summer watering.

5. Choose plants which will survive the rigours of container life.

6. Water crystals (added as a gel before planting) are useful during summer.
